I am uniquely me. You are uniquely you.
And that's how we roll - together.
our diversity, equity & inclusion statement
At Pink Elevation we develop transformational and inclusive business leaders, building learning organisations that inspire engagement and innovation. To have a profound and lasting impact, we tailor evidence-based practices to actual business needs. We are driven by our conviction that a safe and trusting work-environment, where diversity and authenticity are championed and cherished, is a key prerequisite for wellbeing, engagement and innovation within any organisation that focuses on learning and growth. Our diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) statement is part of our overall system of values and reflects our vision of building an organisation that strives for respect and inclusion throughout our workplace and in the businesses we cooperate with.
These are our commitments to ensuring our DE&I statement:
about ourselves
We acknowledge that at Pink Elevation we come from privileged backgrounds and thus bring our own sets of unconscious biases and preconceived notions. Our founder Vanessa is white, heterosexual, able bodied and a university graduate from a middle-class background. We recognise that this filters our way of perceiving and thinking about the world. In order to broaden our view and challenge our privileges, we commit to reflecting and checking which tricks our minds play and how we can outwit them. We commit to fostering a culture of belonging and responsibility, learning from misjudgements and missteps together. We further commit to diversifying our pool of associated coaches and facilitators to offer different life experiences, perspectives and opinions.
about our work
Having the notion of inclusion as a prominent part of our purpose statement is a conscious promise with regards to not just the type of content we work on but also the way we aim to facilitate it. We commit to talking about diversity, equity and inclusion in a positive and encouraging way, showing advantages and opportunities rather than playing the blame game. We commit to always working from a place of genuine goodwill and affirmative willingness with all our business partners. We commit to placing trust and psychological safety in the core of our work, making sure that everybody feels seen and heard, knowing that their voices count. We further commit to basing our content on diverse and state-of-the-art resources, preventing to communicate outdated and one-sided scientific insights.
about our partners
Working towards a diverse and inclusive organisational culture can be daunting and discouraging. Very quickly, people can feel misunderstood, misrepresented or misjudged, leaving the organisation more polarised than before. We commit to meeting you where you are at - no judgement, no scrutiny. We commit to supporting your inclusion journey with the latest insights from the scientific community as well as best-practices from the business world, making sure that the initiatives you put into place actually work and have the desired positive effect on your company culture and performance.
